Robert Tigner, Extension Educator in Red Willow County, said recently that dryland corn yields appear to be very positive, ranging from 105 bushels per acre to the more typical 120 bushels/acre and even up to highs of 160-180 bushels/acre. Tigner also reported that wheat planting is mostly done in the area; a strip of wheat peeks through the dust to the north...
