Enjoying life in the splattered spot (Column ~ 11/08/01)
You know that little spot between a rock and a hard place? Let me introduce myself. I'm not exactly sure how it happened, I think I'm equipped with some kind of radar, like a bat in the night. I am just naturally attracted to that one place where I can ultimately become the splattered spot between the rock and the hard place... -
Booms are better
(Column ~ 11/08/01)
Dear Editor, Is a boom better than a bang? Guns go bang, but you need a license and permit, plus massive amounts of money. Then the danger a gun brings to the home, plus the lack of places to safely shoot is growing. The boom (boomerang) has been around since before recorded history. The oldest boom was found in France. For that reason HE, being a true, righteous and holy God, had to execute judgement upon her by scattering the Jewish people into every country of the world as He had told them He would when He brought them out of the land of Egypt by the leadership of Moses. ...

Leave clock alone
(Column ~ 11/08/01)
Dear Editor, In response to the question Daylight or Standard time? I vote for leaving the clocks alone; standard time. Here are a few reasons: 1. I don't believe we save electricity because we get up in the dark on daylight time. 2. How much money does it cost to set the clocks twice a year in federal buildings, schools, or elsewhere?...
