Dear Editor: Congratulations to our County Commissioners for keeping their purchases local !!! These people should be commended for keeping our tax dollars in our community. I wish I could say the same thing for our City Council. I have kept quiet long enough about this because of the fear of being boycotted by our city...

We've said it once. We're going to say it again. Let's quit giving each other grief about the city's water situation. Instead, let's give all sides the benefit of the doubt, allowing them to explain their positions without resorting to personal attacks...

Perhaps, in order to understand who God is, we need to have a clearer understanding of who he is not. He is not "God in a box" where you wheel in and out of traffic and shout an order for a bacon double cheeseburger with extra mustard and no pickles, collect your cheeseburger in exchange for a few precious coins, and go on your merry way... -
