Medical self-insurance expected to boost county budget $300,000

McCOOK, Nebraska -- Preliminary numbers for the 2013-14 Red Willow County budget shows the employee self-insurance fund gobbling up $1.47 million, more than $300,000 than last year at $797,488. Dan Miller presented the preliminary budget at the regular Red Willow County Commissioner meeting Monday morning and told commissioners that numbers were based on projected valuations of $939,336,356, up from $838,364,751 in 2012-13. ...
