About three months ago, McCook boys basketball fans and the Bison players and coaches probably felt pangs of trepidation about the upcoming season. Head coach Tim Garcia had very few players returning with varsity experience, and not many tall players -- McCook's tallest members among the varsity regulars was just 6-foot 2. The Bison coach went into the season planning to use a handful of sophomores and a freshman as regulars in the varsity lineup, and he did just that all season long...
