Laws and public relations campaigns to get children into car seats are paying off, according to the American Academy of Pediatrics, but more kids can be saved from injury or death by leaving them in rear-facing seats for a longer time. Sales tax for roads may get super priority status

McCOOK, Nebraska -- LR3CA, the constitutional amendment that would authorize the state to use sales and use tax revenue to pay off highway bonds, may get speaker super priority status, according to State Sen. Mark Christensen.
