An argument over a dog Thursday night sent one man to the hospital with near fatal injuries. Darren Peters, of 1604 W. Fourth, was allegedly assaulted by Erik Pittman, 19 and Brandon Carlock, 20, both of McCook Thursday around 10:27 p.m. According to Ike Brown, McCook Police Chief, an argument started between Carlock and another witness over the ownership of a dog. ...
