Rain splatters onto the copper rain spout at McCook's public library Monday morning. Radar indicated an inch or more of rain throughout Southwest Nebraska, growing heavier toward the tri state Nebraska, Colorado and Kansas border. Heaviest rain seemed to be northwest of Limon, Colo., where as much as three inches of rain was indicated by midmorning. The automated weather observation system at the McCook Regional Airport indicated .69 of an inch by 11 a.m. today...
