Boulder, Colo. -- Veta Mae Ray, 91, died Wednesday, July 9, 2003, at Frazier Meadows Manor in Boulder, Colo. She was born to Otto and Emma Poore in Minden, NE on June 15 of 1912. Wheat harvest winding down

The wheat harvest in Southwest Nebraska is beginning to wind down along with cash grain prices -- but the good news is yields and future prices are up from last year.
