INDIANOLA, Neb. — When I was young, I considered becoming a patrolman. Of course, that was when I felt ten feet tall and bulletproof. After some years of maturity, I didn't think being in law enforcement was for me. Now there are days I'm pretty sure I couldn't whip my way out of a wet paper sack. Traveling along B Street in McCook, I cannot help but glance south as I pass Norris Avenue. Regardless of the time of day, I am always curious to see if the Amtrak train is at the McCook train depot.
