Bid for lift station higher than expected

McCOOK, Neb. — A $209,250 bid was awarded to a Kearney company to renovate the lift station at the golf course. With other consent agenda items, the McCook City Council approved the bid from Midlands Contracting, Inc. of Kearney, the lowest of five bids received for the project.
