Commissioners plan armor coating projects for summer

McCOOK, Neb. -- Red Willow County commissioners are considering armor coating 11-13 miles of county roads later this summer. A drop in the price of oil -- from $3.06 per gallon in 2015 to $2.38 this summer -- may be offset slightly by an increase in gravel -- from $6.75 per ton in 2015 to $7.30 per ton this summer.
