Plea agreement reached with former McCook raceway promoter

McCOOK, Neb. -- A plea agreement was reached last week in Red Willow County District Court with a Red Willow County Raceway promoter facing a felony charge for writing a $4,000 bad check. Kristie Brittain of 915 Westridge will face sentencing on a reduced Class I misdemeanor offense indicating she issued a bad check in an amount less than $500. Brittain originally was facing a Class 3 felony alleging she wrote a $4,000 bad check to Rick Salem in June of 2014...
