I read with interest the June 9 editorial viewpoint. I would like to make a few comments. I especially noted the idea of 5-day a week delivery of our mail. Surely folks, we are "short circuited" enough without not having Saturday delivery. You know everyone isn't fortunate enough to be able to get e-mail. You know, many years ago, McCook people got two deliveries each day ... a.m. and p.m. Remember?...

Red Willow County commissioners and elected officials discussed budgetary needs for 2008-09 at the commissioners' weekly meeting Monday morning.
