April 14, 1932 - Dec. 2, 2006 Maurice Fulton Couse passed away at his home in McCook, Dec. 2, 2006, at the age of 74, with his wife and children by his side.  He was born April 14, 1932, at the Butler-Couse Homestead east of McCook, in Red Willow County to Roger and Myrle (Stuart) Couse.  He worked for the Bureau of Reclamation and farmed with his dad until joining the United States Air Force in 1952...

Red Willow County commissioners signed an agreement Monday morning to lease the addition that McCook rancher Tom Kiplinger will have built on the east side of the indoor horse arena on the county fairgrounds in McCook. In this lease-purchase agreement, Kiplinger will pay a contractor to build a 50x100-foot addition and then lease it to the county to complement the original 130x300-foot, $600,000 arena. ...
