Attorney general files lawsuit against war museum developer

LINCOLN?-- Attorney General Jon Bruning Friday filed suit in Lancaster County District Court against Kyle Kopitke, of Nelson, formerly of Oxford, for defrauding Nebraskans in a charitable war museums scheme. Lancaster County District Court Judge Jodi Nelson granted Bruning's emergency request for a temporary restraining order against Kopitke and the museums to restrain him from relocating the war museums and removing the corporate assets of the museums until the court orders otherwise...

To anyone who was around in 1941 the name of Pearl Harbor brings forth indelible images in the mind, the same as does the assassination of John F. Kennedy in 1962. People remember just where they were when they first heard the news that the Japanese had bombed Pearl Harbor, to jump start World War II. It's true that at that time most people had never heard of Pearl Harbor and had no idea just where it was, but over the next days, weeks and years of World War II we surely did find out...
