MCC softball team stretches streak to 12 with Sunday sweep

The Lady Indian softball team won its 12th straight game Sunday in a doubleheader sweep over Luna Community College. The McCook Community College softball team swept a Saturday doubleheader at home from Luna Community College winning 17-1 and 7-0. The Lady Indians opened the series with their first eight hitters reaching base in Game 1 on seven hits and a walk, leading to a nine-run first inning and a 17-1 win.
