Husker setter wins Big Ten weekly award

Nebraska sophomore setter Bergen Reilly was named Big Ten Setter of the Week on Monday for the third time this season and the seventh time of her career. Reilly led the Huskers to a 3-2 win over No. 10 Purdue and a 3-0 win against Rutgers with 11.88 assists per set, 3.75 digs per set, two blocks and one ace. Against Purdue on Friday, Reilly helped the Huskers come back from down 2-1 to win in five by posting career highs of 60 assists and 17 digs. She also had an ace, a kill and a block. In the sweep of Rutgers on Saturday, Reilly followed up with 35 assists and 13 digs - her 10th double-double of the season - as the Huskers hit .314.
