LINCOLN, Neb. — A former McCook man was sentenced to 31 years in federal prison for charges involving child pornography. U.S. Attorney Susan Lehr announced that Jeron Messersmith, 29, formerly of McCook, was sentenced Wednesday federal court in Lincoln for attempted production of child pornography and production of child pornography.
