TRENTON, Neb. — Members of the Trenton Rescue and Fire Department retrieved a hunting dog named "Chase" after he fell to the bottom of a 24-foot-deep hole Oct. 26. McCOOK, Neb. — Southwest Nebraska Public Health Department has confirmed a case of hantavirus in the nine-county health district. This is the first reported case of hantavirus in the southwest Nebraska area in over six years.
