Great timing! The McCook City Manager presented the Council with a new scheme to tax (fees=taxes) the residents for additional money to spend. The idea is to charge for running underground cables, and other utility connections, whenever they cross city “property”. Oh, but the council members were all on it like ducks on a June bug! Great timing. Ever more reason to vote no on any council member running for reelection...
