Ruth E. Hansen Sept. 14, 1920 - Jan. 23, 2017 OGALLALA, Neb. — Ruth E. Hansen, longtime Brule resident, passed away Monday, Jan. 23, 2017, at the Indian Hills Manor in Ogallala. McCOOK, Neb. — A plea agreement was reached with a McCook man earlier this month arrested on felony burglary, theft and drug charges following reports of a three-wheeled pickup truck traveling on Missouri Avenue. Maret of 1009 West J Street, accepted plea agreements in two separate criminal cases stemming from the incident and was subsequently scheduled for sentencing at 9:30 a.m. on June 12, 2017, in Red Willow County District Court...

BEAVER CITY, Neb. — A Cortland, Neb., man is held on $150,000 bond following a pursuit by Furnas County sheriff’s officers on Saturday. Chad M. Kohout of Cortland, 37 years old, led officers on a chase after a Cambridge resident reported to officers that a man was in the resident’s camper parked beside his residence.
