At Christmas time 2012, cousins Cooper Roth, right, and Brody Lytle had varied reactions to Santa Claus, who made a quick stop at the Museum of the High Plains in McCook. McCOOK, Neb. -- Class of 2016 McCook graduate Josie Dominguez is hoping to raise enough donations in the coming weeks to take a second run at the upcoming Miss Nebraska Teen USA Pageant in January. Dominguez is the daughter of Carlos and Josiane Dominguez of McCook and competed in the pageant earlier this year. She ended up finishing in the top 10 despite it being her first pageant experience. Donald Trump's proposal to ban the immigration of victims of terrorism in countries dominated by Islamic radicals worries me. Obviously there is a danger of a radical individual traveling with them to the U.S. Still, we need to be compassionate and use good judgment...
