Cold weather rule in effect for gas companies

Near-record enrollment expected to continue

McCOOK, Nebraska -- For the past six semesters, enrollment numbers at McCook Community College have been near record levels and this semester officials expect that trend to continue as the spring semester begins today. McCook, Nebraska woke up to a blaze-red sky Sunday morning, a forewarning of clouds and wind. The first line of the centuries-old saying, "Red sun in the morning, sailors take warning," indicates the possibility of approaching storms and wind throughout the day. The second line, "Red sun at night, sailors delight," means the storms are moving away.
