Pausing for a time on the East Coast, West Coast, Northern and Southern Borders and three times living in Oklahoma, we got a feel for the country. Each place has points to recommend but our favorite spot turned out to be Oklahoma. There we would have settled upon retirement except for the siren call of home, family and farm back here in Nebraska...
