McCook wrestlers hosted the six-team McCook Duals Friday. Grand Island Northwest won the event going 5-0. Alliance, Wray, Colo., and McCook all went 3-2, North Platte was 1-4 and Scottsbluff was 0-5. McCook's eighth grade boys basketball teams went 1-1-1 Thursday against Holdrege. McCook fell to Holdrege in the A team game 41-27, but tied in the C game 21-21. The Bison returned in the C game and won 30-6. Justin Terry led the Bison in the A game with 12 points and Joel Baker had 7.
