'Tis the season? 'Tis the season for giving! Right. Around McCook someone is harassing the folks year-round for a donation for something. (Anyone have time to begin in January and keep count of the many "requests" for our money for the next year?) United Way is only one of the big pushes for money now -- $85,000 -- only $10 from each of the 8,000 citizens of McCook, AND if you give $50 or more you get a chance to win $1,000 or $500 United Way Dollars. ...
