HASTINGS -- Lucille Mildred (Wegener) Block, 75, died Tuesday (March 12, 2002) at Hastings. She was born Feb. 21, 1927 in Norton, Kan. to August and Mildred (Rathe) Wegener. She grew up in the McCook area. On Oct. 12, 1952, she married Richard Esslinger of McCook. They made their home on a farm north of Arapahoe before later moving to Lexington.
