Smallpox shots, training under way

About 50 medical personnel from McCook and surrounding counties met at Community Hospital yesterday to receive training on giving the small pox vaccine and its side effects. Thirteen people, all hospital personnel who have been identified as "first responders," were vaccinated for small pox. More first responders will receive the vaccine next week.
