Quartet of Bison basketball players on all-SWC

McCOOK, Neb. — A trio of McCook High girls and one boy made the All-Southwest Conference basketball mention for their efforts this season.

Bison sophomore Cali Crawford earned second-team honors after leading the scoring attack in a strong 15-10 season. She topped 30 points during an early-season victory over Valentine.

Senior Paige Bortner reached the SWC girls third team while point guard and top scorer Tripp Raile earned that same honor among all-SWC boys.

The boys also finished 15-10

Senior Brooklynn Gillen capped the quartet with All-SWC honorable mention.Gillen and Bortner are both set to play in the Senior All-Star Games at Minden on June 12.
