He was born in Dodge City, Kan. Jr’s family includes his wife Lexi Gillen; four children: Piper Gillen of Hastings, Neb.; Geoff (Brenda) Gillen of McCook; Andy (Bobbi) Gillen of McCook; and Monica (Jeremiah) Johnson of McCook. He has 13 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one on the way.
