Raiders, Wolves, Longhorns top area boys winners on Tuesday

WALLACE, Neb. — The Medicine Valley boys showed why they're a Class D-2 Top 10 team for power points during their 47-32 victory over Wallace Tuesday evening.

Brody Senff scored 15 points, Lucas Einspahr 14 and Tyce Pate added eight for the 4-5 Raiders.

They turned an 8-4 lead into a 26-9 first half against the surprised 6-4 Wallace Wildcats.

Jason Fisher was the only Wildcat to score in double figures with 10 points.

MayHay 53, Hi-Line 45

MAYWOOD, Neb. — Maywood-Hayes Center built a 28-11 halftime lead then survived Hi-Line's 11-2 third quarter Tuesday night.

MayHay (8-3 record) rebounded with 23 fourth-period points to protect its home-court win. The Wolves also recovered from a 54-40 loss at Hayes Center vs. Cambridge Friday evening.

Hitchcock County 64, Southwest 35

TRENTON, Neb. — The Hitchcock County Falcons are now 7-1 thanks to this dominating victory over 3-6 Southwest Tuesday evening.

Chase County 70, DC-S 39

IMPERIAL, Neb. — Leadling by four at halftime, Chase County turned a 39-12 second half into one huge win over Dundy County-Stratton Tuesday evening.

The Longhorns (3-5 record) dealt DC-S only its second defeat in 10 games this season.

They built their lead to 46-33 through three quarters before finishing with a fantastic 24-6 final eight minutes.

No individual stats were obtained.

Maxwell 59, Arapahoe 49

MAXWELL, Neb. — Eli Shafer was an ultimate cool cat with 12 of his 14 points in the second but Arapahoe could not quite rally against those Maxwell Wildcats Tuesday night.

Hayden Sich hustled for 10 points Alex Diaz delivered another 10.

Chris Hermes scored five more yet Arapahoe slipped to 1-9 this season.

Oakley 53, Decatur Comm. 46

OAKLEY, Kan. — The Decatur Community, Kan., boys slipped to 4-4 overall Tuesday evening.

Trego 57, Rawlins County 36

TREGO, Kan. — The Rawlins County, Kan., boys are now 2-5 this season.
