Bison boys wrestle two one-point duals, take third at NP

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. — McCook freshman John White and three other Bison went undefeated during a top three team performance at Saturday’s North Platte Duals.

White pinned all thre of his 106-pouind foes including Trace Eldridge of Cheyenne East, Wyo., with just one second remaining in their match (5:59).

The pin was huge in McCook’s 39-38 dual victory that secured third place overall.

The Bison also blasted Bridgeport, 57-15, as returning state finalist Tristan Campbell joined juniors Gabe Roberts and state qualifier Spencer Steinbeck to win every N.P. match.
