Community Hospital welcomes new board member
McCOOK, Neb. - Community Hospital is pleased to announce a new addition to its board of directors. Rebecca Wiemers, LCSW, LMHP, MPA, Ph.D., who began her three-year term at the Dec. 18 board meeting.
Wiemers, a licensed mental health counselor at Unified Therapy Clinic, has been in the McCook area most of her life. She is excited for the opportunity to serve on the Community Hospital board of directors, saying, “I believe in the Hospital’s mission and vision and commitment to their efforts to pursue innovative and quality health care for our region. Health care access is very important to me, and I will strive to help meet the needs of our community in this role on the board.”
Wiemers and her husband, Tom, have three children: Rowen (19), Roslyn (18), and Trev (15). They enjoy watching their children participate in the activities they love. In her spare time, she likes to travel and read historical fiction.
Other members of the Community Hospital board of directors include Karen Craw, Matt Davidson, Darren Esch, Michael Lord, Matt Nielsen, Grant Norgaard, Ashley Vontz, NP-C, and Kurt Vosburg.
Completing her maximum term limit of two three-year terms at the November board meeting was board member Jana Kmoch, Pharm.D.
