Christine was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother and had a strong faith in God. She was very active with her children and supported them throughout all their school activities and sports.
Christine loved to read, it was not uncommon for her to pick up a novel and complete it in one evening. She has thousands of books in her collection. Board games, exploring new restaurants, and traveling were some of the many things that Christine enjoyed with friends and family. She loved music and going to concerts, she would often be found jamming out at Joseph Hall and Plain White T’s concerts with her lifelong friend Sheila Berls.

She made a lot of homemade food, especially pies and the best apple butter. She loved crafting and was an expert gardener and loved canning for many years when her children were little. Christine was active in the lives of her grandkids.
Christine was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She would visit many members to read scriptures and support them through difficult times. She held various health callings for many years for the LDS Church, specifically aiding women and children.
Christine worked at Walmart in McCook, Neb. for 25 years.
One of her favorite “jobs” was volunteering at Bargain Bazaar with some of her best friends: Gloria Shepherd, Candy Owens, and Pat Jannsen. She would often tell her son Michael that they solved most of the world’s problems on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week.
