Restaurant hosts event for family affected by house fire

McCOOK, Neb. - Pizza Hut in McCook will hold a fundraiser on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2025, to support Mark and Patty Brown, who recently lost their home and two beloved pets in a devastating fire. From 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., 15% of all sales will be donated to the Browns to help ease their financial burden.

A silent auction will also take place during the event, with bidding open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The community is invited to enjoy a meal and show their support at Pizza Hut, located at 811 N. Hwy 83, McCook.
