May-Hay girls sink Sailors, 67-6, as soph hits nine of 10

MAYWOOD, Neb. — Sophomore Caylie Softley made nine of 10 field goals and totaled 25 points in Maywood-Hayes Center’s 67-6 win over Sutherland Tuesday night.

Obviously, the 5-1 Wolves’ defense was ferocious. Softley swiped seven of 27 May-Hay steals with Ayleen Hernadez taking four and Reagan Stengel three.

Hernandez added eight points with junior Karissa Stengel netting nine. Reagan STengel slipped another eight points through the nets.

Senior Aubrey Broz, junior Blayklee Farr and sophomore Addison Richards each scored four points.
