Longhorns, Eagles go 1-2 at Southern Valley Invitational
OXFORD, Neb. — Chase County’s boys totaled 151 points to win Friday’s Southern Valley Invitational where the Eagle wrestlers finished second with 112.
The 10-team tourney featured Sutherland Sailors reaching third (101 points), Red Cloud-Blue Hill fourth (98.5) and Wilcox-Hildreth fifth (96).
Rawlins County (Kan.) scored 81 points for eight in this highly-competitive where 10th-place Arapahoe still scored 64.

Chase Longhorns
106 pounds: Dylan Miscles (7-2) won the championship with his 5-1 finals win over Ian Anderson, Rawlins.
157: Luis Co (8-0) won the chamnpionship when he topped Sam Bantam, SV, 19-4.
165: Westyn Mendenhall (8-1) placed second.
175: Scott Hoover (7-0) won the championship as pinned Wyatt Seeman, RC-BH, in 1:36.
