McCook JV girls tip off season with 2-0

McCOOK, Neb. — Junior Brecken Gale and freshman Alice Weimer both scored in double figures to lead McCook JV girls’ sweep through Chase County and Valentine last weekend.

“Brecken is learning to take control of the game being our point guard. She has really improved since last year. Our defensive pressure has put us in good position to win both games so far this season. Alice has been a great addition to our team and will push for a varsity spot.”
