Resignation, jail update on agenda

McCOOK, Neb. — A resignation letter from County Assessor Kristi Korell is among items on the agenda for the regular meeting of the Red Willow County Board of Commissioners Monday.
The board will convene at 9 a.m. in the commissioners room on the third floor of the courthouse.
The meeting will also include a jail update from Sheriff Kevin Darling and an interlocal agreement with the City of McCook.
Other items will include writing off an overdue amount from Carquest of Holdrege and accepting a $9,900 gift from the Kiplinger Foundation, intended to fund the purchase of a Black Widow Implement.
Public participation is encouraged, with updates and decisions expected to be shared following the meeting.
