McCook Farm & Ranch Expo returns to Kiplinger

McCOOK, Neb. – A massive setup is underway at McCook’s Kiplinger Arena as tables, chairs, booths and banners take shape in the 39,000-square-foot facility. Now in its 15th year, the McCook Farm & Ranch Expo will bring together agriculture professionals, families, and enthusiasts from 20 states, Canada, and Australia. The event will take place on Friday, Nov. 22, and Saturday, Nov. 23, at the Red Willow County Fairgrounds.

Open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, the expo promises a wide variety of experiences with a packed schedule of demonstrations, purchasing opportunities and entertainment.

A Working Ranch Horse Sale to benefit FFA will begin on Friday evening at 6 p.m. and will feature items including a quarter beef donation, seed packages, and outdoor equipment.

Visitors can explore an array of exhibits showcasing the latest advancements in farming and ranching technology. Categories range from equipment, seed and chemicals, livestock needs and irrigation solutions, to financial and governmental services. Home goods, art, and boutique shopping options will also be available.

Daily attractions include horse training demonstrations by Bryce Combs, blacksmith demonstrations by T. Dale Forge, and autograph signings by Southwest Nebraska Rodeo Queens. On Saturday, a Producers breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 9 a.m., followed by a new mini bucking bulls competition at noon. Health-conscious attendees can receive influenza vaccinations provided by the Red Willow County Health Department.

Attendees are encouraged to keep an eye on the stage for engaging speakers and announcements throughout both days. Whether interested in cutting-edge agricultural technology, livestock sales, or family-friendly fun, the McCook Farm & Ranch Expo promises to deliver an entertaining, informative experience and a regional draw for McCook.
