Younger Bison wrestle to three championships at Minden tourney

cCook Junior High wrestlers took home a trio of championships along with several more high places on Tuesday.

Bison grappled with Holdrege, Cozad, Gothenburg and host Minden. A rundown of all the Bison who won matches other than forfeits:

104-110 pounds: Bryson Keller won the championship. He pinned T. Iosinobu, COZ, in 2:53. Isaac Dutton placed second. He pinned Iosinobu in :37.

165-167: Kohyn Cock won the championship. He won 16-0 over M. McHenry, HOLD; won 17-2 tech fall over D. Hopkins, GOTH.

182-196: Coen Greenlee won the championship. He pinned S. Heath, MIND, in :32; pinned J. Doudney, COZ, in :25. Stefan Seybold placed third. He pinned Heath in :34.

100-107: Gage Tiller placed second. He pinned G. Forster, MIND, in 1:33. Alec Osborne placed third. He pinned Forster in :17; and won 15-10 over A. Zuniga, COZ.

105-111: Eli Pearson placed second. He pinned A. Wagner, GOTH, in :58.

137-140: Wesley Benes placed second. He pinned B. Wiese, COZ, in :14; pinned C. Holt, HOLD, in :45.

198-204: Bryant Edwards placed second. He pinned C. Eschen, HOLD, in 1:46.

95-102: Lance Haller placed third. He pinned L. Monter, MIND, in :40.

120-128: Max Stone placed third. He pinned N. McMillion, MIND, in 1:44.

150-152: Crosby Crowe placed third. He won 14-6 over B. Knott, MIND.

142-147: Telen McDonald placed third. He won 10-5 over E. Geiser, GOTH.
