Bison girls get big opening win over North Platte

The McCook Junior High eighth-graders tipped off with a super home win over North Platte at McCook Junior High Thurdsay afternoon. Kassady McCorkle (above) found a way to work around the defense of Bulldog Riley McQuade (15).

Below, a trio of Bison are on their toes defensively with Pavyn Terry (12) taking charge against this Bulldog guard. Covering her opponent closely is Ellie Gillen (below left) while Sophia Pierson (below right) watches for any sharp cuts to the hoop.

Bottom photo is Bison Brynn Gross (21) finishes a drive downcourt against North Platte defender Braylin Fox (12). Both McCook “A” teams have started 1-0 as the seventh-graders defeated Lexington on Tuesday.
