Trojan leaders from the state tourney match with EMF

LINCOLN, Neb. — The Cambridge Trojans reached Class D-1 state for a fourth consecutive volleyball season and played Exeter-Milligan-Friend at Lincoln's Pinnacle Bank Arena Thursday night.

Though eventual state runner-up EMF won 3-0, there were several strong performers for Cambridge as coach Lauren Carpenter's team finished 22-11 overall.

KILLS: Brooklyn Holtze 10, Erin Johnson 7, Joslyn Holtze 6.

BLOCKS: Brooklyn Holtze 3.

DIGS: Brooklyn Holtze 12, Joslyn Holtze 11, Mallory Springer 9, Johnson 9, Elisabeth Kubik 8.

ASSISTS: Mallory Springer 20, Kubik 4.
