Community rallies for Haigler projects, upcoming events announced
HAIGLER, Neb. — Thanks to generous donations during the Southwest Nebraska Big Give, the Haigler Community Foundation has met its fundraising goal for the Cornerstone Center for Community Service’s HVAC project. The Foundation expressed its gratitude to supporters whose contributions will allow the much-needed project to move forward.
Meanwhile, organizers have confirmed that the annual Haigler Gun Show, traditionally held the weekend before Thanksgiving, will be postponed until early next year. Though specific dates are yet to be announced, organizers assure that efforts are underway to deliver a top-quality event.
Residents and visitors can look forward to Haigler’s upcoming holiday traditions. On Saturday, November 16, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Cornerstone Center will host its annual Christmas Room opening. Shoppers can browse festive decorations while enjoying complimentary coffee and cookies. That evening, the community will gather for the Haigler Smoker at the American Legion, rounding out a day filled with small-town charm.
As Thanksgiving approaches, Haigler looks ahead to a season of celebration and community.
