GRAND ISLAND, Neb. — A Grand Island woman, Janet Cochran, 75, was sentenced to four years of probation after pleading guilty to a charge of terroristic threats in Hall County District Court.
The plea deal, accepted in August, led to the dismissal of additional charges, including a deadly weapon offense.
The case stemmed from a February 13 incident in which two minors reported that Cochran attempted to run them over following a dispute between one of the children and Cochran's granddaughter.
Police found evidence supporting the claim.
