Railroad crossing project planned

McCOOK, Neb. — A railroad crossing repair project on N-4 in Harlan County, Nebraska, will start on Nov. 15, pending weather conditions, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.

Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway will conduct the repairs near reference post 5+14. Motorists should follow a marked detour via US-6 and US-183, as the work is expected to take one day. Drivers are advised to stay cautious, wear seat belts, and avoid distractions in the work zone.
