Olympic theme for First Tuesday

McCOOK, Neb. — USA! USA! After you have voted the Buffalo Commons Storytelling and Music Festival planning committee invites you to attend their First Tuesday event Nov. 5 from 7 to 8 p.m. at Embers Bakery and Café. Your red, white and blue spirit will be warmed by stories about the Olympics and Paralympics.

Featured speakers will be Monica (Gillen) Johnson who was part of the sports medicine staff for the 2024 Paris Paralympics and Brett Warren who has 20 years of experience in Olympic network operations for AT&T and NBC.

Anyone with an Olympic memory to share is encourage to attend. As always, listeners are welcome as well. Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase should you choose.
