McCOOK, Neb. — Voters have one more opportunity to attend a public informational meeting and tour the Junior High School building on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 6 p.m. School leaders will discuss the proposed $43.5 million bond proposal to be decided in November.

The current facility has pressing structural and mechanical needs and rough estimates to renovate have been around $30 million.

Even with extensive renovations, engineers only give the existing structure 25 to 30 more years of useful life.

School officials encourage a strong turnout at Wednesday’s meeting, where patrons can ask questions and learn more about the proposed new building.

For those unable to attend, more information is available at www.mccookbond2024.com.
