Senior's 17 kills lead Trojans victory over Falcons for third

McCOOK, Neb. — The Cambridge Trojans reached 20 wins this season thanks to their 25-20, 25-17, 25-15 RPAC consolation finals win over Hitchcock County Tuesday night.

Senior Erin Johnson’s 17 kills powered the 20-9 Trojans’ recovery from a tough five-set loss at Southwest Monday evening.

Sophomore Brooklyn Holtze blasted 10 kills and Joslyn Holtze served three aces.

Joslyn made three of eight Trojan stuff blocks.

Johnson also had a team-best 20 digs with Chloe Gooden and Joslyn making 18 apiece.

Madysen Carlson, Kaiah Johnson and Raegan Hagan hit four kills each for Hitchcock. Carlson added six blocks.

Asia Homma hustled to 20 digs and senior Jill McCarthur made 17.
